Tonivert is a bush form of snap bean intended for whole consumption due to the absence of a parchment layer. The pods have a dark green color, their length at maturity reaches 13–18 cm, and the seeds are white.
The plant possesses tolerance to bean common mosaic virus and anthracnose. The variety is grown as a snap bean and is widely used as an export crop, as well as in private vegetable gardening.
