The variety is universal and suitable for both haymaking and grazing. It is characterized by late heading dates and strong growth in the autumn period, which allows for extended grazing periods, and also shows good results in early spring.

The plant is distinguished by high nutritional value and excellent forage quality. The variety possesses high resistance to trampling, frequent mowing, and good winter hardiness, while growing successfully on heavy and moist soils in cool climatic conditions.

Baronaise is used for establishing medium-term and long-term seeded meadows. It is recommended to include it in grass mixtures to increase feed palatability and crop productivity at the end of the season.
