The variety belongs to the mid-late group. It possesses good resistance to snow mold infection and low incidence of the fungal disease choke (Epichloë typhina). It demonstrates drought tolerance and good ability to regenerate shoots under water deficit conditions.
The variety is characterized by high yield and is recommended for use as a forage crop. It is used in intensive swards, monocultures, as well as in mixtures, including clover-grass, for the establishment of hayfields and pastures.
