The Engmo variety is intended for hayfields and pastures. It is characterized by taller growth and a faster daily growth rate compared to southern varieties, and forms sods.
The plant possesses high resistance to the effects of ice crust, which ensures reliable overwintering in high-latitude conditions. At the same time, in terms of biomass production volume, the variety may be inferior to more modern or southern varieties.
