The variety was created by interspecific hybridization using late biotypes. It belongs to the hay-cutting type, forms a large yield of dry matter in the first cut, however, it has a weak ability to regrow after mowing, which results in a small yield of aftermath.
Forage quality exceeds fescue, the crop is well digested by animals. The variety has high winter hardiness, exceeding the indicators of ryegrass. Intended for use as part of forage grass mixtures in short-term and long-term grasslands for hay and haylage harvesting.
