Diandra variety is early-maturing, corresponding to the Grindstad standard in terms of heading dates. The plant is distinguished by abundant aftermath regrowth after mowing and has higher digestibility indicators (D-value) compared to the standard variety.
The variety is resistant to leaf spot. Winter hardiness of the variety is assessed as moderate; therefore, in northern latitudes, it is recommended to cultivate it primarily as part of grass mixtures. The variety is suitable for cultivation on all soil types.
