Comer demonstrates high resistance to Helminthosporiumleaf spot, bacteriosis, and leaf spot. The forage production of the variety possesses good digestibility and nutritional value. High yield is maintained during the summer and autumn periods, the indicators of which are comparable to the first cut.
The variety is recommended for regions with a humid climate and low-mountain conditions. Due to its density and compatibility with other plant species, it is effectively used both in pure stands for haymaking and as part of pasture grass mixtures.
