The variety belongs to the late-maturing group. It is a perennial loose-bunch grass possessing high nutritional value and good digestibility. The yield of the variety is most pronounced under grazing use.
The plant is primarily used as a forage crop for establishing hayfields and pastures. Due to winter hardiness, the variety is often included in grass mixtures for forage production.
