The plant forms a dense bush with leaves that have a characteristic curve at the tips. The foliage color is maintained throughout the year. In the summer period, the appearance of flower stalks with tubular flowers of yellow or reddish shades, which attract birds and insects, is possible.
The variety is moderately winter-hardy, withstanding temperature drops down to -8°C...-9°C; in cold climate conditions, it requires covering or moving indoors. It prefers well-drained humic soils and does not tolerate waterlogging.
The plant is used as an ornamental crop for container gardening, planting in groups, mixed borders, and rock gardens. It is not intended for the production of industrial fiber.
