The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the Spirit and Bolero varieties. The plant has a determinate stem growth type and forms triple and quadruple pods. The variety is early-maturing, ripening two days earlier than the Spirit and Puget varieties.
A key feature of the variety is high resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by races 5 and 6, which distinguishes it from the Spirit and Bolero varieties, which are susceptible to these pathogens.
