A pea variety «Dobrynia» is recorded in official plant variety registries, however, detailed scientific information on its characteristics and origin is limited in open sources.

In the commercial sector, an early-maturing variety with a vegetation period of 45–55 days and a plant height of about 60 cm is sold under the name «asparagus pea Dobrynia», a distinctive feature of which is the absence of a parchment layer in the pods.
