The variety belongs to the small-seeded category. Studies in the Krasnodar Krai conditions showed that the seeds are characterized by a high starch content, averaging 35.1%, and a high level of amylose in the starch, reaching an average of 75.4%.
In scientific literature, the variety is considered primarily as an object for the study of genetic resources. It is used as a donor genotype for breeding work aimed at increasing the amylose content in seeds.
