The variety is mid-early and tall, reaching a height of about 120 cm. Due to the physical characteristics of its growth, the plant requires the installation of trellises, netting, or other supports. Distinctive characteristics of the variety include pronounced red-purple flowers and dense foliage.
The pods are consumed whole at the stage when the seeds inside are barely visible; upon overripening, the flavor of the pods acquires a starchy quality. With late sowing, starting from May, the variety is susceptible to powdery mildew. The popularity of the variety is due to its decorative appeal and its taste qualities when fresh and frozen.
