The variety is intended for use as forage, green manure, or biomass feedstock. There are no tannins in the seeds, and the seeds themselves are yellow in color and medium or small in size. The variety demonstrates fast growth rates in the initial stages of development.
The plant has good resistance to downy mildew infection. During breeding, selection was also conducted for resistance to Ascochyta and Botrytis pathogens.
