The variety was developed through individual selection from traditional Spanish accessions, such as Monfero. The plant is characterized by an indeterminategrowth habit, high vigor, and vigorous development.
The variety belongs to vegetable crops for culinary use, valued for the small size and tender texture of its seeds. With autumn-winter sowing, flowering occurs in 130 days, and harvesting of immature pods is possible 150 days after sowing. The yield of immature grain is approximately 1000 kg/ha.
