The variety was classified as a grain pea and was widely known in agricultural practice in the late 1990s. In modern literature, it is used primarily for laboratory experiments, including genetic transformation and the study of plant physiological responses.
The plant is characterized by a long stem and good lodging resistance. Maturity timing of the variety is comparable to the Solara variety. During its active cultivation period, the grain was valued for its suitability for micronization, and yield in a number of field trials was assessed as average or below average.
