The variety belongs to the sugar pea (snap pea) group intended for fresh consumption. The plant reaches 60 cm in height; flowering occurs at the 12th node. The pods have a double structure, thick walls, a straight shape with blunt ends, and contain 7 seeds each.
The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, while exhibiting susceptibility to Fusarium wilt race 1. Genetically, the variety was obtained as a result of the hybrid combination Jessy x (Reuzensuiker x Delikett).
