The variety was developed in Estonia at the Jõgeva Plant Breeding Institute under the direction of breeder Harri Hindov. In the national classification, it belongs to culinary varieties traditionally used in cooking.
Information on morphological plant parameters, such as height or disease resistance, is not documented in detail in general reference materials due to the fact that this variety belongs to the breeding period of the last century and was excluded from active use by 2020.
