The variety belongs to the group of shelling peas and is characterized by an indeterminate growth type with a stem height from 140 to 200 cm. The plant requires mandatory installation of supports in the form of netting or trellises.
Light green curved pods reach a length of about 10 cm and contain 8–10 medium-sized peas each. Mature seeds are smooth, round in shape, and have a light gray-green hue.
The variety possesses resistance to cold and certain types of Fusarium, however, it may be susceptible to root rot. An heirloom variety suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing.
