Variety description

10 August 2026

Pea varieties with the name "Nefrit" are described as mid-early or early-maturing with a vegetation period of 45 to 75 days. Plant height varies from 45 to 70 cm; stems are characterized as stiff and resistant to lodging.

Pods reach a length of 8–8.5 cm and contain 6–8 seeds. The color and shape of the seeds are described differently: from dark green wrinkled to light green round-angular. Plants possess resistance to diseases, pests, and adverse conditions, and are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing.

The variety "Зеленый нефрит" (Green Jade) is highlighted separately, representing a mid-maturing sugar pea with a ripening period of 60–65 days and a dessert taste.
