The variety belongs to the semi-leafless ("tendril") type; plant height at the time of harvest is about 55 cm. Seeds have an irregular shape, green color, and large size; the thousand kernel weight varies from 230 to 300 g.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and root rots, in particular to Aphanomyces euteiches. The variety is well adapted to a cool, humid climate and is resistant to early spring frosts.
The grain is characterized by a high protein content (24–25%) and a reduced level of trypsin inhibitors. The variety is versatile and intended for both the food industry and for use in animal husbandry.
