The variety belongs to the second early maturity group. The plant is short, of the determinate type. It forms double pods, characterized by a high number of seeds inside.
The seeds are of small caliber, light green in color. The variety was bred by crossing Wisconsin 715 and Nugget. It possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt race 1, however, it is susceptible to race 2, which led to attempts at breeding improved lines.
