The variety «Rigel» (fodder pea) was used in breeding programs as a parental form. In particular, it was used in crossing with the variety «Timo» to obtain the variety «Highlight».

The variety underwent state trials in Sweden between 1988 and 1991. Detailed descriptions of morphological traits or economic characteristics of this variety are absent in open publications.
