The variety is semi-dwarf, with a stem length ranging from 35 to 65 cm. The pods have a slightly curved shape and contain 8–9 seeds each.

The plant belongs to shelling varieties suitable for processing. For scientific purposes, the variety is used as a genetic source of semi-dwarfism and high 1000-seed weight, and also serves as a standard in research on resistance to Ascochyta blight.
