The variety belongs to the glaucospermum botanical variety. The stem is well-foliated and reaches a length of more than 100 cm. The leaves are light green, medium in width. The flowers are large, white, and form 1–2 per peduncle. Straight pods of medium length contain 5–8 round light green seeds with a white hilum. The thousand kernel weight is 200–240 g.
Seed yield is about 3.5 t/ha, green mass yield is up to 353 c/ha. The protein content in the seeds reaches 26%, in the green mass 16–18%. The variety has medium resistance to pea weevil; in some years it is susceptible to infection with ascochyta blight and powdery mildew.
Due to the long stem length, the variety is prone to lodging, therefore cultivation in mixed crops with cereal crops is recommended. The pea is versatile in use: suitable for food, animal feed, and for the production of grass meal.
