The Zekon variety belongs to the semi-leafless type and is characterized as mid-height. The plant has medium resistance to lodging, as well as medium resistance to a complex of diseases, including root rot, anthracnose, rust, and gray mold.

The seeds of the variety have a green color, medium size, and round shape with good color uniformity. Due to the low content of anti-nutritional factors, in particular trypsin inhibitor activity, the variety is suitable for use in the food industry and for feed purposes.
