Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a first-generation hybrid (F1) obtained from crossing a female line of Texas bluegrass and a male line of Kentucky bluegrass Huntsville. Externally, the plant is similar to Kentucky bluegrass, possesses a developed root system and aggressive rhizome formation, which ensures wear resistance and self-recovery.

The variety is adapted for use as turf and for the creation of sports grounds in regions with hot climates. It shows resistance to cutworm larvae and outperforms traditional Kentucky bluegrass varieties in heat tolerance, but is sensitive to shading.
