The plant has a narrow, vertically directed crown shape. The foliage is decorative, variegated: new shoots and young needles are colored cream-white or light cream, while old leaves remain green.
The variety is slow-growing. Resistant to sunlight exposure, heat, urban environment, diseases, pests, and deer damage. USDA hardiness zones 7b–10, withstands temperature drops down to -8 °C.
Used in landscape design for creating hedges, screening, or as an accent plant, as well as for growing in containers. Tolerates pruning well for crown shaping.
