Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant forms a dense, vertically oriented crown. Young shoots and leaves in spring and autumn are colored in bronze-red or bronze-pink tones, which, as they mature, change to a glossy dark green color. The bark of mature plants has a characteristic cracking "tortoiseshell" pattern.

The height of a ten-year-old plant reaches 3–4.5 meters; when grown in containers, the size is significantly smaller. The variety is drought-tolerant, resistant to diseases and pests, and adapted to USDA hardiness zones 7b–10. It prefers well-drained moist soils and tolerates sun and partial shade.

Used in landscape design for creating hedges, as single or accent plantings, and also for cultivation in containers.
