Variety description

Perennial deciduous herbaceous plant reaches a height of 30–60 cm, and up to 45–75 cm with flower stalks. A characteristic feature of the variety is variegation: dark green pinnate leaves have a distinct creamy-white margin.

Flowers are bell-shaped, sky-blue, and fragrant; the flowering period occurs in late spring and early summer. The variety forms a compact bush, prefers moist, rich, well-drained soils, and can grow in partial shade or sun. Frost resistance corresponds to USDA zones 3–9.
