The plant forms a low mound 30–45 cm in height and width. The pinnate compound leaves have a bright green color with a cream-white margin, which takes on a pinkish hue in cool weather or in the sun. Flowering occurs from mid-spring to early summer with bell-shaped flowers.
The variety is characterized as hardy and long-lived with good heat tolerance. It is used in ornamental gardening for mixed borders, woodland gardens, rock gardens, creating edgings, and growing in containers.
