The variety is a herbaceous perennial that forms a dense basal rosette. The leaves are compound, pinnately dissected, and colored green with a characteristic creamy-white margin. The height of the bush is usually 30–40 cm, reaching 25–50 cm in some cases.
Flowering occurs from late spring to early summer, accompanied by the appearance of fragrant bell-shaped flowers of a light blue or lavender shade. The plant is winter-hardy, prefers semi-shaded areas with moist and well-drained soils, while requiring protection from direct sun in regions with hot climates.
