The Chia Nong Yellow Baby variety is a product of hybridization between traditional polyanthes and the species Polianthes howardii (Polianthes bundrantii), which has made it possible to obtain a plant with altered petal coloration and improved adaptive properties.

The plant possesses cream-yellow flowers and a pronounced intense aroma. Due to its long flowering period, the variety is used primarily as an ornamental crop and a cut flower.
