Variety description

The variety forms a compact bush about 20 cm in height and 20–25 cm in width. The plant forms a basal rosette of dark green textured leaves. Sturdy flower stalks up to 30 cm in height are positioned above the foliage.
The flowers are large, double, of a lilac-purple color with a yellow shade in the center, gathered in umbel-like inflorescences. Flowering occurs in April–May; the variety is sterile. The plant prefers sites with good drainage and diffused light; it is sensitive to stagnant moisture and water getting on the leaves in hot weather.
