The Marcela variety was created by breeding followed by selection at the VÚKOZ research institute. The parent forms for this variety were the hybrids Hethor and Unistar Gold Orange.

The plant is intended for ornamental gardening and floriculture. The variety belongs to the group of professionally bred plants and is characterized by a lush leaf rosette and the ability to bloom early.
