The plant forms a compact rosette of oblong or oval leaves. The height of the bush without flower stalks is about 15 cm; the flower stalks reach 20–35 cm in height and hold the inflorescences above the foliage.
The double flowers have mahogany-toned coloring with a yellow eye and a cream or golden border along the edge of the petals. The variety blooms in the spring; the flowering period can last more than a month.
The plant prefers fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soils and semi-shaded areas. The variety possesses winter hardiness corresponding to zones 4–8 and is suitable for cultivation in flower beds, borders, and containers.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
