The variety is an herbaceous perennial that forms compact rosettes of leaves. The height of the flower stalks during the flowering period ranges from 5–15 cm to 20–25 cm. The flowers are large, and their color varies from bright orange-red to a deep red-orange shade with a characteristic yellow eye.
The plant belongs to the category of semi-evergreen crops with a flowering period from April to June. The variety possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 4), but requires fertile, humus-rich, and moderately moist soils. Optimal conditions for cultivation are partial shade with protection from direct sun and regular watering during dry periods.
