The Hargrand tree is medium-sized, forming an open, spreading crown. Fruits are very large, weighing 85–120 g, sometimes up to 150 g, round or slightly flattened in shape. Skin color is matte orange or deep yellow, sometimes with red speckles. The flesh is firm and juicy.

The variety is mid-season, suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing. It possesses high resistance to bacterial spot, brown rot, and perennial canker; fruits are not prone to cracking during rain. The variety is partially self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinators.
