Mirabelle de Nancy is a variety of European plum. It is a semi-dwarf type tree of mid-late maturity with small golden-yellow fruits featuring red speckles and an excellent dessert taste, which are traditionally used in culinary applications.
American Plum (Prunus americana) is a distinct species of wild North American plum. Plants of this species reach 1.5–8 m in height, are characterized by high winter hardiness and the presence of tart skin on the fruits, which is why they are more often used as rootstocks or breeding material.
