The rootstock belongs to the dwarfing group, contributing to a reduction in the vigor of grafted trees, which allows its use in intensive orchards for forming compact crowns. Trees on this rootstock may require staking in the first years of growth, and the root system itself is prone to suckering.
The plant possesses good resistance to drought, high lime content in the soil, and frost. Trees grafted onto it demonstrate fruit of good size, with maturity occurring several days earlier compared to trees on other rootstocks.
