Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock was bred as a hybrid of European plum and cherry plum. Its main feature is the creation of a barrier to Plum Pox Virus: when the scion is infected, the rootstock rejects the infected tissues, preventing the systemic spread of the disease throughout the tree.

The characteristics of the rootstock include a low ability to form root suckers, which facilitates orchard maintenance. According to literature data, vigor indices can vary, while the rootstock shows high sensitivity to drought and a requirement for sufficient moisture; in rare cases, a risk of sudden tree decline is noted.
