The rootstock is a hybrid of cherry plum and Munson plum. Trees grafted onto this rootstock are characterized by high growth vigor and significantly exceed in size trees on dwarfing rootstocks. The plant contributes to increasing the lifespan of the scion and ensures good productivity.
The root system of the rootstock is resistant to root-knot nematodes, Phytophthora, and waterlogging, but is sensitive to bacterial canker. The rootstock possesses high winter hardiness and the ability to grow in calcareous soils, and also exhibits resistance to Plum pox virus under natural conditions.
