The variety is a hybrid of Prunus cerasus × (Prunus avium × Prunus canescens). It was selected in 1999 from seedlings obtained in 1989. The variety is used exclusively as a rootstock and contributes to increased yields as well as uniformity of development of grafted trees.
The plant is characterized as a dwarfing rootstock that ensures the compactness of grafted trees. The stool bed of this rootstock has a characteristic weeping growth habit. The variety was selected based on criteria for good adaptation to heat and drought conditions.
