The rootstock has a vertical crown shape and belongs to the semi-dwarfing group, with vigor approaching that of Gisela 6 rootstock. The plant is characterized by good adaptation to hot and dry growing conditions.
The use of this rootstock promotes uniform growth of grafted trees. It provides higher yield and fertility of grafted varieties compared to rootstocks such as Gisela 5, F12/1 and Mazzard.
