The semi-dwarf tree reaches a height of 1.5–1.8 m and forms an upright crown. The variety is characterized by high precocity, entering fruit-bearing 2–3 years after planting, and high yield. Flowering is abundant and occurs in April; the flowers are rose-shaped with large petals.
The fruits, weighing 100–135 g, have an elliptical shape, smooth shiny skin of yellow-orange color with an extensive red blush. The flesh is yellow-orange, firm, 'cartilaginous', juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste; the dry matter content is 13.1–14.3%. The pit adheres tightly to the flesh, which makes the variety suitable for the production of compotes and jams.
