The variety was obtained by crossing the nectarine variety Spring Bright with an unnamed peach seedling. The fruits have a spherical shape with slight axial compression and are covered with dark red skin over almost the entire surface. The flesh is yellow, distinguished by its density and crunchy consistency at the stage of technical maturity; the stone separates well from the flesh.
The trees are self-fertile. The variety requires about 550 hours of chilling, which determines its suitability for specific climatic conditions. Agronomic studies have noted a relatively low yield and fruit size in relation to some other modern varieties.
