The fruits have a spherical shape with skin ranging from pink to red. The flesh is firm, with a low acid content; the stone does not separate from the flesh. The sugar content in the fruits is about 16 degrees Brix.

The tree requires about 750 chill hours. Flowering is abundant; the flower type is large and decorative. The ripening period is early, approximately June 10 under California conditions.
