The variety was obtained by the method of interspecific hybridization of Prunus persica (L.) Batsch and Prunus ferganensis (Kost. & Rjab.) Kov. & Kost. from a fourth-generation population of the parental combination J. H. Hale × (Elberta × Ferganskiy zholtiy). The tree is characterized by moderate or vigorous growth, has campanulate flowers and reniform glands on the leaves.
The fruits are nearly spherical in shape, weighing 220–230 g, and ripen in early August. The skin is moderately pubescent, carmine-red on 70–80% of the surface. The flesh is intensely yellow, juicy, with good aroma and sweet-sour taste, and the stone separates easily. The variety possesses genetic resistance to powdery mildew.
