The variety matures approximately 10 days after the Elberta variety. The fruits are medium to large in size, the skin is colored with a red blush, and the flesh is white, fine-grained, and of medium density. The pit separates well from the flesh.
Trees of the variety are characterized as vigorous and productive. The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work in the state of New Jersey and was valued for the ability to obtain a harvest of white peaches in the late period of the season.
