Trees have medium to low vigor. Harvesting takes place in the second ten-day period of August. The variety is considered an ancient local material from the Piedmont region.
Fruits weighing 100–140 grams have an elongated elliptic shape with a characteristic protrusion. The skin is yellow-green with an orange overcolor and high pubescence. The yellow flesh has an intense aroma, contains red veins near the pit, and separates from it easily.
